GMA Records, a subsidiary of GMA Network Inc., was formed in the last quarter of 2003. 

In a short span of time, GMA Records became the fastest-growing record company in the country with several album releases, platinum and gold record awards, hit songs, numerous awards from different music award giving bodies, fresh discoveries, outstanding sales and great music reviews.

In 2005, GMA Records ventured in the home video market by releasing the blockbuster film “Let The Love Begin” on dvd and vcd. Several releases followed thereafter. The list include; “Lovestruck”, “Moments Of Love”, “I Wanna Be Happy” (licensed from Seiko Films), “Jose Rizal” – the Philippines’ most successful film,  “Muro-Ami”, “Sa Pusod Ng Dagat”, and  “Deathrow”.

GMA Records current roster of artists include; Jolina Magdangal, Janno Gibbs, Michael V, Jennylyn Mercado, Yasmien Kurdi, Gerald Santos, Brenan Espartinez, Aicelle Santos, Gabby Eigenmann, Wink and Jaya.
